CPIW

CPIW returns the CPI Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers (CPI-W), as published monthly on the internet, and can be downloaded from the Social Security web site via the “Special Menu”.

CPI-W is used to annually adjust Social Security benefits. For more information, see function SSCOLA.

Year: a 4 digit number. Or instead of entering a year, you can enter a date as “m/d/y”, and if you omit the Month parameter, then Year = “y”, Month = “m”, and “d” is ignored.
