Macros for functions in EAC Tools

In addition to entering a function in the customary manner, you can run a macro that displays the parameters (arguments) that are used by the formula, with a description of the usage. All of the functions are listed by category in the Functions menu as shown below.

The macros are invoked by the following process:

Click EAC Tools on Excel's Ribbon.

Click on Functions.

Select the category and click on the desired function name.

The function setup with parameters will be pasted into the active worksheet.

Note: The range must be empty before the paste is performed.

In addition to all of the functions available in the regular menu, the Quick Pick menu on Excel’s Ribbon Menu allows you to quickly insert a demonstration of the PVSL and PVJL functions along with their parameter descriptions into a range at the currently selected cell.
