- New function AE gives actuarial equivalent adjustment factors, e.g. early retirement reductions.
- New function SegRate gives a minimum present value segment interest rate.
- New function SegRateText gives the 3 minimum present value segment interest rates in a text string that can in turn be used as an input into other present value functions.
- Minimum present value segment interest rates are automatically downloaded from the IRS.GOV web site.
- Significant speed improvements, especially when using generational mortality.
- Smaller file size and faster load.
- Fixed a minor interpolation problem with joint annuities (äxy) when using fractional ages.
- Corrected a issue where the add-in failed to communicate with my FTP site to look for updates or to enter an activation code.
- Get “cash flow forecast” year-by-year using an “Excel Array Formula”. For example, if you are using the function “PVSL” to get the present value of a single life annuity, you can use “PVSL” in an array formula to get the expected payment (before interest discount) for any number of future years returned as an array. I will provide more on that later. If you need that kind of result it is a neat feature that is powerful and extremely fast.
