SSNRA, SSFRA, SSNormalRetAge

SSNRA returns the Social Security Normal Retirement Age (NRA) or the “full retirement age” for a given date of birth. There functions are all identical:

·        SSNormalRetAge

The SSNRA is based on the year of birth according to the following formula:

Note: Persons born on January 1 of any year should refer to the normal retirement age for the previous year. Persons born on the 1st of the month, the benefit (and the full retirement age) are calculated as if your birthday was in the previous month.
