WageBaseMed returns
the Medicare
Hospital Insurance taxable wage base for a year. Note that beginning in 1994 there
is no longer a limit to the wages subject to Medicare tax. Unlike the Social
Security tax, there is no income limit on the Medicare tax. All covered wages
are subject to Medicare tax.
